St Marks Church

Forest Gate

Our Motto for 2020
He who was seated on the throne said
'I am making everything new!'
Revelation 21: 5
Wherever in the world you’re from and whatever your background, we warmly welcome you to St. Mark’s.
We love Jesus, so we want our church to be a place where you will feel safe, cared for, valued and listened to.
Come in and see.

Welcome to the St. Mark's website, which we hope you will find interesting

and informative.

We are an Anglican Church in Forest Gate, London E7, located near Wanstead Flats.

Our small parish covers the area bounded by Capel Road and Wanstead Flats, Woodgange Road, the main Liverpool Street - Shenfield railway line and Manor Park Cemetery.

We have an electoral roll of 111 and a regular attendance of around 80 adults and 28 children on Sunday mornings, with groups for babies, children and young people every week .

We aim to cater for every member in our community, which is why we have such a wide programme for all ages. Most programmes are led by church members so there is a Christian presence in everything we do. Find out what's coming up here.

We have home groups that meet regularly in the day time and evening, and these are very important for helping Christian believers to know more about their faith and how to put it into action.

Our church was purpose built for us in 1987, is all on one level and is

fully accessible.

You are always welcome to join any of the weekday groups and/or come to our services on Sunday at 10.30 am and 6.30 pm or as advertised.

You will find all the information you need here on our website.

We look forward to meeting you.

God Bless

All of us at St. Mark's
