Giving to St. Mark’s

Click here to donate and support our work

Do you love St. Mark’s, our work and our building?

This is your invitation to help us continue to serve
our current and future members and our local community

As a voluntary organisation we receive no funding from either the government or the local authority, so we receive most of our income from those who are part of our church family.

We pay a sum each year to the Diocese, which contributes towards their cost of providing parish priests and services to us. We use the rest of our income to maintain, light and heat our building, to pay for all the activities we undertake within the church and in the local community, and give at least 10% away each year to local, national and international charities, causes and appeals.

If you would like to make a donation, a Gift Aid envelope is available from church. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help. If you are a UK taxpayer, if you can supply us with your name and address we can claim the income tax back and increase the value of your gift by 25%. Otherwise just put the money in the envelope and drop it into the church.

You can also make a 'Love Gift' to St. Mark's at any time as a thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness to us in this community, through Give A Little here. This is a safe and secure way to give.

We are also blessed when people remember us and leave us legacies in their wills. If you would like to consider doing this, please contact either our Vicar, Revd Ben King, or our Treasurer, Peter Arnold. Their details are here.
